CHEER HOMEBOUND MEALS Volunteers from St. Mark's graciously assist the CHEER Center in Long Neck, Delaware by delivering meals to local shut-ins. Volunteers pick up meals at the CHEER Center and deliver them to the homebound five days a week for 26 weeks each year. Grace United Methodist Church handles the other 26 weeks of the year. CHEER, is an independent, private non-profit agency serving the needs of senior citizens in Sussex County, DE by providing services to promote and maintain the highest quality of life and independence, and to meet the continuing needs of mature adults 50 and over so that they can stay healthy, active and involved in the community from the place they most want to be -- their home.
