LOCAL CHARITABLE DONATIONS

In addition to all of the active outreach that occurs at St. Mark's, donations of money, food, and gifts are made to several other causes.  Some of these causes are listed below:

 

July BirthdaysJuly Birthdays at the Stockley Center - Birthday gifts are collected for the mentally disabled residents of the Stockley Center who have birthdays in July.  Click Here for a list of suggested gifts (***This link will open a new window or tab***).

 


Book DriveLiam James Kane Book Drive - Liam James Kane was the grandson of two parishoners of St. Mark's.  Liam went to be with the Lord at the age of 5 after a heroic battle with pediatric cancer.  Every May, new children's books are collected by his family and friends in his memory.  The books are donated to the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware.


God Bless Our MilitaryMilitary Support - Personal items and snacks are collected on an ongoing basis which are then sent to military personnel around the world.

 

 

 


Needy Families - Members of the congregation collect money, gifts, and food to give to local needy families throughout the year.


Other Monetary Donations - In the past, monetary donations have been given to the Millsboro Volunteer Fire Company, the Millsboro Little League, and other non-profit civic and charitable organizations.
