THE CHRISTIAN STOREHOUSE

THE CHRISTIAN STOREHOUSE is an ecumenical, non-profit organization which serves as a food bank, resource center, and thrift shop for people in need or crisis in the Millsboro area.  The Storehouse was founded in 1995 by a member of St. Mark's.  The organization has since grown and now includes members of many area churches and the community on its board.  Several members of St. Mark's volunteer at the Storehouse on a regular basis. The Storehouse also serves as the food bank for St. Mark's.  Food is collected in a basket in the back of the church and is brought forward at the offertory. We have a special request for foods that are safe for diabetics.

The Christian Storehouse is located in Millsboro, Delaware on Mitchell Street, next to the Millsboro Civic Center and Town Offices.  The Storehouse is open to the public every day except Sunday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  Donations of food, clothes, furniture, and furnishings are always welcome pending available storage space.  Volunteers are always needed.  For contact information about the Storehouse, please visit our Contact Page.
