THE LABYRINTH &
About our Labyrinth & Meditation Gardens A rock . . . a simple rock called a flintstone was placed in the lot next to St. Mark's in 2005 where the church's rectory once stood. The flintstone was meant to The meditation gardens are fashioned after a cross, with the four corners representing the medicine wheel of Native American culture. The prominent color of the north is white, the east is yellow, the south is red, and the west is black (represented as blue). The four natural elements are all represented in the gardens. In addition to Earth, Water is represented by a passive fountain; Wind is represented by a set of soothing wind chimes; and Fire is represented by three spirit lamps, representing the Holy Trinity.
