ABOUT OUR RECTOR

Our RECTOR, the Rev. David J. Archibald, was installed as the rector of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and St. Martin's In-the-Field Episcopal Church in Selbyville, Delaware on April 1, 2002.  Fr. Archibald graduated from the School of Theology at Sewanee, the University of the South in Tennessee in 1989.  Before coming to St. Mark's and St. Martin's, he was the rector at three Episcopal churches on the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee.  He and his wife, Susan, live in Roxana, Delaware.  They have four children named Ali, Brendan, Lincoln, and John; and two grand-children named Lilly and Ethan.

Before being called to become a priest, Fr. Archibald was a self-employed trucker throughout the Northeast.  He was based out of his home state of New Jersey.

Fr. Archibald holds office hours on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM.  Also, please feel free to contact Fr. Archibald at any time if you have any questions or concerns, or to schedule a baptism, wedding, or other sacrament.
